Creature Speed Server-Side 2da Override  Modified by Algernon's Ghost for The Vast
Have you noticed how players can always outrun (and outwalk for that matter) your NPCs? It's because the normal movement speeds for NPCs are set to be slower in the creaturespeed.2da file, than the PC movement rates. This simple server-side 2da override will even things out, and let your NPCs walk and run at the same speed as players. This override only affects "Normal" movement rates, so if an NPC uses "Normal" as its default (most do), or is set to "Normal", then it will be affected by this file. No other movement rate has been changed. Simply unzip the creaturespeed.2da from its folder, and place it in your server's override directory; players do not need to employ this file.
Note: The Vast is run as a servervault only system, therefore this override has only been tested under this type of set-up.

Ranger Tracking Skill System  Modified by Algernon's Ghost for The Vast, debug work by Trooper_Max
This script is modified from the original HCR version to take into account target-creature size, weather, and predictable visibility factors. The DC modifications for these factors are based on the PHB v3.5 rules for tracking. We have also eliminated the tracking tool inventory item, and moved the activation of this function to the custom crafting radial menu (activation code is not included here), and restricted use so that characters must have two or more ranger levels before receiving tracking abilities.

All-in-One Seamless Area Transitioner (for Neverwinter Nights)
Version 1.1 (July 19, 2002) Created by: Jaga Te'lesin

We have used this transition script since the first area of The Vast was built. It is no longer supported by the creator, so we are offering it for download in its original form for the NWN community. The package comes complete with the original documentation and a demo module. We are not the creators of this classic NWN user-made system.

It is a very easy to use, powerful, and configurable "seamless area transitioner" for Neverwinter Nights. It links module areas edge-to-edge seamlessly via invisible generic triggers. Built primarily for larger, open worlds it's the ideal solution. It can work equally well for smaller modules if needed.

The version we currently use in The Vast has had some modifications to allow DMs to trigger and use the system without leaving any signs visible to players. It has also been modified in the way that it deletes its transitioning integer (which is now handled in a separate script we already had attached to the OnEnter event of every area) to eliminate a no-transition bug we occasionally encountered. In all other respects, it works the same as the original. Our version is not available at this time; this download is Jaga's original version only.
